General Inquiry: How can I reactivate my Microsoft Student Ambassadors registration after it was marked as inactive?

Hello,

I received an email stating that my Microsoft Student Ambassadors registration has been marked as inactive due to not meeting the path requirements. Is there a way I can reactivate my account? I want to continue participating in the program.

I applied to the Microsoft Student Ambassadors program on July 24, 2024, and received my Contributor ID on July 27, 2024. I joined the Discord community and completed 3 modules of the technical training program. However, due to my academic activities, I could not complete additional requirements in time.

On October 17, 2024, I received an email saying that my registration has been marked as inactive and will be removed from the system within 60 days. My Discord membership is still active.

Is it possible to reactivate my registration? If so, could you please guide me on the steps to follow? I am eager to continue my participation in the program.

Additionally, I have attached a screenshot of my current "Application Status" for reference.

Thank you for your help!

Hi Theekshana,

Thank you for contacting the Microsoft Community.

I understand how important it is for you to continue participating in the Microsoft Student Ambassadors program, especially since your status is currently inactive as mentioned in the email you received. I'll make sure to gather the necessary information to help you reactivate your account and get the assistance you need.

I'm familiar with individuals who have faced similar circumstances, and our successful approach was to directly coordinate with the MLSA support team. Their team has the resources to provide you with tailored assistance and further insights on your questions, including maintaining an active status in the program, confirming reapplication if your account is deleted, and exploring options to reactivate or prevent its deletion.

You can reach them directly via sa-help@microsoft.com, or I highly recommend visiting the FAQs for student ambassador, for more detailed information. Please see the image below for your reference:
