About MS102 Certification Prerequisite

Kindly be aware that once you have passed an exam like MS-102, you do not need to retake it unless the certification body updates the exam content or requirements.

There is no specific time frame to complete the prerequisite certifications, but our recommendation is to complete them as soon as possible. In most cases, as long as you complete the prerequisites within the specified time frame, you will receive the certifications

Please bear in mind that the Exam MS-102: Microsoft 365 Administrator is one of the conditions to obtain the Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert Certification as shown in the image below:

Keep in mind that the MS-102 Exam does not issue a Certification by itself.

The available requisites for the Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert certification, are the following for your reference:

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate

• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate

• Microsoft Certified: Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate

To archive the certificate, you should have the exam MS-102, and any of the last certification. Make sure to fulfill the other requirement, which is obtaining any of the certifications we mentioned earlier. The order does not matter, if you have both prerequisites active, you will be able to achieve the certificate.
