I understand that updating your legal name on your Microsoft Learn profile is an important and time-sensitive matter—especially when it may affect how your certification records appear. I want to assure you that we’re here to help you through the process.

To proceed with making the necessary adjustments, please provide us with the additional details requested via the private message (see the image below) I have initiated.

Your request is very important to us, and we are committed to handling it with the utmost care and attention.

Meanwhile, upon further review, I found that as of July 8, 2024, Legal Name is managed through self-service within the Learn profile for those learners who have not ever registered for an exam before. They are now able to change their Legal Name without additional validation from support by simply editing the field as shown in the image below. You need to sign into your Learn profile, and at the top of the page, click on your profile icon and from the dropdown menu select Settings.
