After being verified as a student, why is there no discount?

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to seek assistance in scheduling an exam for PL-200. Following the steps outlined in the provided Microsoft source (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/certifications/student-discounts#how-to-identify-yourself-as-student-in-profile), I have successfully completed all the required actions. Specifically, a message appeared, stating: “Congrats! You’re verified for academic discounts.”

Despite the verification, I have not observed any applied student discount during the exam scheduling process. I would appreciate your guidance on this matter and kindly request you to generate an email for me to address this concern with the relevant support team.

I appreciate the information you have provided. I can see a green check mark, which indicates that you are eligible for a student discount, and I want to congratulate you on that.

To utilize the student discount, please note that you will have to skip the discount page and continue to follow the instructions in scheduling an exam. The discounts section of the exam registration page is intended for company and/or events discounts only. And on the check-out page, you will see the student discount attached to your scheduled exam.

For reference, you can visit the Student discounts | Microsoft Learn page.

In addition, as your Certification Profile now displays a green check mark, signifying your verified status; this allows you to benefit from a 30% discount on fundamental exams (for all countries) and 45% off the commercial retail price for role-based exams (excluding India and China).

Meanwhile, since you are planning to take a role-based exam, you should see a 45% discount once you are on the check-out page. You can use Microsoft_Certification_Exam_Voucher_Prices.xlsx (live.com) to see a comparison between the original price and the discount price.

If in any case issue persists, I kindly request to send us a step-by-step screenshot using Problem Steps Recorder (PSR) (click this link for MAC device) throughout the entire process, starting from the sign-in page up until the last page that shows you're unable to proceed, along with the further information through the private message I initiated.
