Applied Skills: Implement a Real-Time Intelligence solution with Microsoft Fabric

This lab was taken off during this weekend and just became available. I tried to take it. However, I could not create an "EventHouse". I got the message that the trial capacity exceeded. So it is not working. You may want to look into it and notify the technical team to test it.

I didn't record the needed information yesterday since I didn't know that you will want it. They don't allow us to take the exam again until 72 hours have elapsed. No matter what happened. If you clear that restriction on my account for this lab then I will be happy to record it and report.

Your response is much appreciated.

We have received an update from the Applied Skills team, please be advised that there was an issue with the Microsoft Fabric applied skills assessments which prevented candidate from completing the assessments. Furthermore, this has now been fixed. I highly recommend retaking the assessment lab and reading the email instructions to ensure the completion of the tasks.

If the issue persists, please let me know and I will do my best to help. Furthermore, please know that we do not have access to remove the 72-hour waiting period as per the design of the assessment labs.

Hello,

I got past the EventHouse creation problem but cannot import the data from the given blob/csv file no matter what I try. It fails whether I try to load it directly from Azure Storage or download the file locally and then upload it, the data ingestion simply doesn't work. Please note that it works like a charm on my own Trial Capacity provided by Microsoft since I am a full-time Microsoft employee. Here are the details that you requested:

  6. Browser Version: Google Chrome latest.

  7. PSR recording.

I even deleted the EventHouse and created another new EventHouse and tried creating the table in a new eventhouse again, but the same results. It fails to ingest data with no error message.

As you can see in the screenshot above, I created a simple csv file with 5 numbers and just one column. It fails the same way when importing from the given csv file. So there is definitely a problem with data ingestion. Please advise.

I have received an update from the Applied Skills team and upon their investigation, they noticed that a step was initially missed to correctly connect to blob storage. With this, they have advised to check the email instructions carefully as it is a matter of performing the task and sequence correctly to complete the step.
