Hello, the exam page for AZ-500 got deleted and the new certification page shows the following: "This exam will be proctored, and is not open book."
Are the exams no longer open book?

Hi Áron,
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
It's understandable that you would seek clarification on the exam format and the software's compatibility with Microsoft's recent changes.
While Microsoft sets the guidelines for their exams, including any updates or changes in format, Pearson VUE is responsible for the delivery of the exam, including the software used during the test. The exam software itself is developed by Pearson VUE, but it is designed to align with Microsoft's requirements.
We apologize for any confusion or lack of clarity from Pearson VUE support regarding the open-book nature of the AZ-500 exam. We have received an update with our Support team stating " The policy is correct; our exams are NOT open book in the traditional sense (untimed and Un proctored—they are both). However, candidates can now access Microsoft Learn on all associate, role based, and specialty exams. This feature is not available on fundamental exams."
I hope this helps and please let me know if further assistance is needed.
Otherwise, if this solves your problem, please indicate “Yes” to the question and the thread will automatically be closed and locked.
