Unfortunately due to circumstances I have not been able to renew my certificate. Now I plan to get AZ-305 certificate. Do I have to take AZ-104 first to qualify for AZ-305 certificate?
We understand that your Azure Administrator Associate expired and you want to know if passing Exam AZ-305 will grant you the Certificate.
Please know that if you have approved Exams associated with a title, your results will be visible under Transcript, unless all the requisites are active in the Profile. Then you will be issued a Certificate.
In this case, you would need to re-earn the Azure Administrator Associate Certification so the system will approve it as a valid prerequisite to obtain the Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certificate.
Please be reminded that the AZ-305 Exam does not issue a Certification by itself, instead it is eligible to be displayed as a Badge.
The Score Report can be downloaded from your Dashboard or the Test Center’s portal, and you should see the approved Exam in your Transcript.
