AZ-204 Exam not showing in Credly after taking renewal exam. Have not been sent a badge.

I recently took my AZ-204 renewal exam and successfully passed. I, however, never received a badge for my exam in order to update it, and thus Credly has been showing the old expiration date rather than the new one. Any help would be much appreciated to get this fixed.

Hello, M.Reilly.1!

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.

Based on your inquiry, we understand that you have renewed your Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate;

 however, the badge on Credly has not been updated. We are happy to help you.

Please note that Microsoft is ending their partnership with Credly by June 30. This means that the badging services provided by Credly no longer apply for most of Microsoft Certifications (excepting certificates obtained via Certiport). Our new scheme has changed from 'Badge sharing-based' to a 'Certification shared-based' scheme.

Your Microsoft Certifications on Credly will no longer be kept current or updated as you pass renewal exams or earn new Microsoft Certifications. The only exception is Microsoft Certifications issued by Certiport which will still be managed and updated on Credly indefinitely.

With this information provided your Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate badge will not be updated; however, you can share your certificate instead of your badge and it will show the updated date.

What is shared from your Learn Profile is the certification itself. We will provide the steps of this new experience so you can share your Certificate to the available social media platforms. Kindly follow the next steps to share your certificate:

  1. Sign into your Learn profile.

  2. Click on the photo avatar and select Profile from the dropdown menu.

  3. Select Certifications from the menu inside your profile.

  4. If you want others to be able to verify your shared certification, set your Learn profile view to public

  5. Scroll to the certification that you’d like to access and select “View certification details” below the description.

  6. Under the certification title, there are three options: “Print”, “Edit display name” and “Share.

  7. If you’d like to share your certification, select “Share.” Select the location to which you want to share your certification.

With this being confirmed, our badges sharing article information has been updated with all of the necessary details regarding the new Microsoft Certification sharing experience:
