AZ-400 Exam Questions requiring Lab [Azure portal]

I understand that you wanted to know if there would be lab questions on Exam AZ-400 after the update and if there’s a need to create an Azure account. 

Based on the Skills Outline, Exam AZ-400 is an expert role-based exam that may contain labs. In lieu of this, labs can be removed at any time due to Azure outages, bandwidth issues, etc., as Microsoft does not provide a list of exams with labs. 

From the information of exam duration and question types page, you may know if the exam has lab questions only when you start the exam and by carefully checking the overview pages that provide information about what to expect on the exam, including if labs are available. 

Regarding with the Azure account, if you need resources to review your exam, you may start creating your account. Please be guided by the steps provided on this page. Please be advised that Azure portal can be only used for managing your Azure subscription.  

During your examination, further instructions will be provided in case you need to access a different site.
