Bad exam experience with Microsoft online certification using Pearson Vue platform


Hi, I recently appeared for the Microsoft certification exam using Pearson Vue online platform option, here is my overall experience with it


  • My experience with Vue platform was not good, I think there is a bug/problem with the Vue provided software “OnVUE-24.8.56”(latest) after completion of registration process which took around 15-20 minutes(waiting queue), the first use case questions i used the microsoft learn option provide in the platform, after I’m done with it, i closed the microsoft learn tab with the close button on it, then the screen went completely white(blank).

  • I immediately contacted the proctor from the provided chat option, the proctor rested my session, but after my session was reseted, i was again added to the waiting queue with around 15 people before me, the whole process took around 15-20 minutes again until I could see questions. And this time was deducted from my total exam time 120 minutes!, i was not given any extra time!.

  • So, if there is a problem with the provided software by Pearson Vue or user session crashed due to some technical reasons the users are not getting any extra time?
