Badge for AI Fundamentals Certification

Is there a badge for the AI Fundamentals Certification (for adding in email signature for example)? I can get to the certificate in my profile, but the badge on the page is just a generic "Microsoft Fundamentals" badge. For other certifications I've achieved in the past, the badge listed the specific discipline.

Hello Louie!

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.

Based on your inquiry, we understand that you want to check if there is another design for your badge of Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals. We are happy to help you.

We understand how important it is to be able to share your certificate and badge with the best design.

In regards of the Logo, you see in your Certificate, it only represents that the Exam belong to the Fundamentals category. All Certificates are classified under three groups to provide clarity on the skill level of the Certification, as follows:

-          Level 1: Fundamentals

-          Level 2: Associate

-          Level 3: Expert

We have confirmed that the design of your Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals

is correct, you can verify the current design at the page of the certificate:

Keep in mind that this is the design of the logo for the certificate, since the badging services are no longer being offered. please note that Microsoft has ended their partnership with Credly on June 30. This means that the badging services provided by Credly no longer apply for most of Microsoft Certifications (excepting certificates obtained via Certiport). Our new scheme has changed from 'Badge sharing-based' to a 'Certification shared-based' scheme. Here's what this means to the candidates:

  • From that date, Credly will no longer issue badges for Microsoft Certifications.

  • If you don’t have a Credly profile, you can verify and share your certifications on your Microsoft Learn profile.

  • If you do have a Credly profile, Microsoft Certifications that you earned and claimed before June 2023 will be there through June 2024, but will no longer be updated with changes to expiration or renewal dates.

  • If you’ve shared your certifications through Credly on other platforms, such as LinkedIn, we encourage you to share them again from your Microsoft Learn profile to help ensure continued verification services, since Credly will no longer verify or receive any information on Microsoft Certifications after the end of June 2023.

With this information provided your badges for you certificates will not be generated (the badges are no longer available since June 30 of 2023); however, you can share your certificates instead.

What is shared from your Learn Profile is the certification itself (the current design is based on the certificate. We will provide the steps of this new experience so you can share your Certificate to the available social media platforms. Kindly follow the next steps to share your certificate:

  1. Sign into your Learn profile.

  2. Click on the photo avatar and select Profile from the dropdown menu.

  3. Select Certifications from the menu inside your profile.

  4. If you want others to be able to verify your shared certification, set your Learn profile view to public

Thanks for your feedback.

What is the recommendation for sharing via email signature? It's disappointing that the relationship with Credly was discontinued without a direct replacement ready to go (to match how previous achievements are recognized via email signature).

Hello Louie!

Thank you for your response.

We understand how important it is to have your credentials and achievements in the best format. We have taken your feedback, thank you so much for the comments and the information you have provided us.

Please note that, as of June 30th, 2023, Credly badges are no longer issued for the achievement or renewal of Microsoft Certifications. Due to this change, when a Certification is complete, there are two ways to share your achievements through your Learning dashboard. You can share your Certificates individually via the "Certifications" tab, or collectively through your official Transcript.

In this moment, the new scheme has changed from 'Badge sharing-based' to a 'Certification shared-based' scheme. What is shared from your Learn Profile is the certification itself (the current design is based on the certificate).

We will provide the steps of this new experience so you can share your Certificate to the available social media platforms. Kindly follow the next steps to share your certificate, this is the current option to share available:

  1. Sign into your Learn profile.

  2. Click on the photo avatar and select Profile from the dropdown menu.

  3. Select Certifications from the menu inside your profile.

  4. If you want others to be able to verify your shared certification, set your Learn profile view to public

  5. Scroll to the certification that you’d like to access and select “View certification details” below the description.

  6. Under the certification title, there are three options: “Print”, “Edit display name” and “Share.

  7. If you’d like to share your certification, select “Share.” Select the location to which you want to share your certification.

Alternatively, you can also set your Learn profile view to public. This will allow anyone with your Learn profile's URL to view your display name, Learn achievements, Collections, and Q&A contributions.

For more detailed information on this matter, please visit the article: View, use, and share certificates and badges | Microsoft Learn

On the other hand, the Badge count on your Learn profile is for Badges and trophies you earn by completing courses and challenges, not Certifications.

We hope this is useful to you, if there is anything else we can do for you, please do not hesitate to keep in contact with us.

If no additional assistance is required, please indicate “Yes” to the question and the thread will automatically be closed and locked. In case we do not receive a response, it will be closed and locked after one business day.
