Can I customize my badge?

Hi,

I earned MCSA Windows Server 2016 in****

And I can see my badge at https://certification.microsoft.com/badge.

In the badge, I see only Microsoft Certified Professional MCSA Windows Server 2016 Earned****

It doesn’t show my name and my picture.

I know, it’s mine but without my name and my snap, it doesn’t look specific to me.

Can I customize it so that I can add my name and my snap?

Moreover, can I get it in physical form like credit card size with my name and snap?

Please elaborate and advise me.

With Regards
NndnG

Hello, NndnG.

Thanks for getting in touch with Microsoft’s Community.

We already shared with you the response of our Specialized Team.

As you received your Badge is correctly. They mentioned that the received Badge only include the title Microsoft Certified Professional MCSA Windows Server 2016 and the year earned.

It is not possible to customize or add anything else, as the Specialized Team confirmed and clarify the information about your Badge.

We hope this information helps you. For us is really important to look for your answers to give you the best assistance.

About your inquiry of how many time your Certification will be valid.

MCSA Windows Server 2016 is a role base administrator Certification and the on December 15, 2020 we announced a change in certification expiration policy. Starting in June 2021, any role-based or specialty certification earned will be valid for one year from the date you earned it. Any role-based and specialty certifications earned before June 2021 will remain valid for two years from the date you earned it.

On December 15, 2020, Microsoft released a new policy where those who have an active certification expiring within six months can renew their certification annually – at no cost – by passing a renewal assessment on Microsoft Learn.

When you’re eligible to renew your certification, you’ll be notified via email linked with your Microsoft Certification ID (MCID). You will receive up to four email reminders before your certification expires.

For more information on Certifications renewals please check the following link: Renew your Microsoft Certification | Microsoft Docs.

Hi, Isabel Lopez.

Thank you for replying me back.

As you said, It is not possible to customize or add anything else, as the Specialized Team confirmed and clarify the information about your Badge.

I accept it. I am not very much concerned for adding my picture in the Badge but at least my name should be mentioned the Badge so that it looks specific to me.

Without name, how do I know or anyone can say, it's mine. There are many professional certificates. Almost all certificate shows name in the Badge. Even I have seen name in Azure certification. That's why I wrote you.

Moreover you said, Any role-based and specialty certifications earned before June 2021 will remain valid for two years from the date you earned it. And When you’re eligible to renew your certification, you’ll be notified via email linked with your Microsoft Certification ID (MCID). You will receive up to four email reminders before your certification expires.

The Badge I earned only shows the year i.e. 2019.

If it is valid for two years from the date I earned i.e. 2021, how do I know, by which month of 2021 is it valid?

In case of renewal, I read an article, MCSA 2016 is expired.

Which option I can expect for renewal? May I expect certification related Windows Server 2019 for renewal?

In the reply, I raised multiple queries. Pls resolve my all queries.

With Regards

NndnG
