Can't register for exam

PearsonVUE support states that I do not have an account and that I should contact Microsoft.  I am MCP ID # removed and have taken VMware exams with them before, so I'm not sure why it is not working properly.  What do I need to do to complete the registration process?

More:  I get an error when I try to schedule AZ-900.  After confirming my profile on the Microsoft Learning page, I click the "Go to Pearson VUE" button under the 'Continue scheduling exam' section and get the error "We can’t access your Microsoft profile to schedule your exam".

We have updated the candidate's profile. Kindly request you to advise the candidate to clear the browser cache and cookies and open a new "In-Private" window to repro the issue.
