Career Transition

I'm looking to transition to a career in IT and Cybersecurity. I don't have the hands-on experience unfortunately, but I love to learn and will put in the work needed. Ultimately, I'd like to work in IT and Cybersecurity. I have beginner experience in programming (Web Dev, Java, learning Python), and some beginner experience in database management (SQL using MySQL and SQL Server). I have a Masters in Homeland Security Management: Cybersecurity Policy Core, and I've worked in middle management and public speaking for the past *******************. My goal is to start with the fundamentals in networks and security, and progress to the point where I become Network + and Security + certified. My question is basically this: I'm looking for advice on how to conduct this transition. What Microsoft Learning Paths should I concentrate on? And, what kind of timeframe can I expect? I don't mind starting entry level and working my way up. I appreciate all advice. Thanks!
