Certification credit for 70-698 and 70-797

I have passed:

  • Installing and Configuring Windows 10 (70-698)

  • Configuring Windows Devices (Performance-Based Testing Pilot) (70-797)

I was hoping to get credit for one or all of these towards my MD-100 and/or MD-101.  I recall that you were going to give credit for the 797 for the 70-697.  Also it seems reading the documentation that 70-698 will provide credit for MD-100.  I'd really like to salvage any credit I've earned before venturing out on my path towards an expert certification.  Any help or direction you can provide would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Steve

Hello Steve.

Thank you for all the information you have shared.

We were able to locate your Profile and noticed that both Exams were taken more than two years ago.

Those qualifications are no longer valid to obtain further Certificates. In this case, to work towards an Expert Certificate, we invite you to complete Exam MD-101: Managing Modern Desktops and Exam MD-100: Windows Client to gain the Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, as shown in the image below:

Once you have accomplished this Certificate, you would need to take Exam MS-100: Microsoft 365 Identity and Services and Exam MS-101: Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security to obtain the Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.

Please let us know if the information provided was useful or if you need additional assistance.
