Certification earned passing MS-200 and MS-201 (both retired and replaced by MS-203) is still valid if renewed annually. Any reason to take MS-203?

I earned the "Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate" certification in ****, passing MS-200 and MS-201 exams.
Since then I renewed it online every year.
Esams MS-200 and MS-201 were retired on August 31 2020 and MS-203 replaced them.
Considering that my certification is still valid, is there any reason why I should take the MS-203 exam?

Hello, MRVR15.

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.

Based on your inquiry, we understand you want to know if it is necessary that you take the MS-203 Exam despite that your Messaging Administrator Associate has been renewed through your required annual renewal assessment.

Since your certificate has been successfully renewed, it is not necessary that you retake any updated Exam version for your Certification obtained by passing previous Exam versions. However, in case your certificate expires, you will need to take the respective MS-203 Exam just as if you were obtaining your certificate for the first time.
