certification profile page keeps saying invalid phone number when entering my phone number

I am trying to schedule a time to take the az900 certification exam. On the certification profile page, when entering my phone number, it keeps saying invalid phone number. I have tried it with the country code, without the country code, in this format (xxx)xxx-xxxx, this format xxxxxxxxxx, this format (xxx) xxxxxxx, and none of the formats are working.

I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.

 

If you’re about to create a certification profile and unable to accept your phone number, make sure that you’re using the correct format.

 

I would also suggest to place the first three (3) digits of your phone number to the area code field and the rest under the phone number field.
