Hello Muhammad Suhaib,

Appreciate your feedback.

To clarify, passing the exam 70-743 would only upgrade your MCSA: Windows Server 2012 certification to MCSA: Windows Server 2016.

Meanwhile, to earn the MCSE: Core Infrastructure certification, you can retake the exam 70-413 or choose other elective exam to pass (70-414, 70-537, 70-744, 70-745) for this calendar year.

I have also confirmed that you may also use your MCSA: Windows Server 2012 certification in order to attain the MCSE: Productivity certification.

To get the MCSE: Productivity certification, you need to pass one these elective exams (70-333, 70-334, 70-339, 70-345) for this calendar year. See image below for reference –

This has been part of Microsoft’s policy of granting certificates per certification and not for each exam that you pass.
