Hello Jasmine.
Thank you for contacting Microsoft's Community.
As we understand, you are not seeing the option "Certification" on your dashboard to download your Certificate.
The reason that you have not been able to view the option for "Certifications" on your dashboard is because on October 25th, 2023, Microsoft launched a new type of credential on Learn called “Applied Skills”.
The Applied Skills feature allows learners to demonstrate their proficiency in a specific scenario-based skill set by completing a challenge lab on Learn. Learners successfully completing the lab assessment will earn a credential that they can share with colleagues, employers, and others.
The Applied Skills assessment lab is open book, free of charge, and may be taken as many times as needed to pass. There is a 72-hour waiting period between attempts. There is no retake policy waiver process.
The assessment lab is integrated into the Learn-first experience. Although the labs are provided by Skillable, they will be presented within an iFrame inside of Learn and will not be branded separately. Learners will simply need to log into Learn to take the assessment lab. To log into the lab experience itself, users will simply click on a pre-defined username and password that auto-populates into the lab login fields.
With the introduction of the Applied Skills credential alongside Certifications, you will see some changes to naming in the current ecosystem. Prior to this launch, the only technical credential available to learners was Microsoft Certification (Fundamentals, Specialty and Role Based). With the addition of Applied Skills as a second credential type on October 25th, the following changes to program terminology and branding will take place:
Microsoft Credentials is now the name of the program all-up.
Microsoft Credentials will now consist of two items side by side: Microsoft Certifications and Microsoft Applied Skills.
The “Certifications” section will be renamed “Credentials”, and this section will contain both Certifications and Applied Skills on adjoining tabs.
References to Certification Support on Learn will be changed to “Credentials Support” where appropriate. Some references that are specific to Certification (e.g. “Certification Renewals”) will continue to use the certification terminology.
In the Learn top navigation bar, top level links will now read “Credentials” with both Certifications and Applied Skills in the sub-navigation. “FAQ & Help” will continue linking to the Certification Help page.
The Certification Help page, previously titled “Certification Support”, will now be renamed “Credential Support”. Support options for Applied Skills will be added to the existing table alongside the Certification.
The Certification Support forum will be renamed “Credential Support”.
