Certifications with Microsoft Learn

Hi,

Is there somewhere on certification information pages that indicates whether or not an exam allows us to use Microsoft Learn during it? I know fundamentals exams are not included but is just about any other test going to be open-book?

Are there any other exclusions to the new policy?

Hi Shivangi,

Thank you for contacting the Microsoft Community.

I understand the importance of having an additional tool during your certification exam and I know how beneficial it is to have more help for the test. Let me share with you some more details concerning this matter.

Based on our latest update, starting mid-September, candidates can now access Microsoft Learn as they complete their exam. This resource is only available on role-based exams. You will have access to everything in the learn.microsoft.com domain except Q&A and your profile, and this will be available in the same language in which the exam is also available. Please also note that when you access this resource, extra time would not be added, the timer will continue as you explore the Microsoft Learn content.

In addition, this will open Microsoft Learn on a split screen to the right of the exam question. You can then navigate through the website as you normally would and expand it to full screen if you prefer.

Furthermore, you can also check this article Introducing a new resource for all role-based Microsoft Certification exams for your reference and to see the full demonstration of this features, please visit Microsoft new exam resource video.

I hope this helps and please let me know if further assistance is needed.
