Charter Member

I just completed the second test to get my MCSA SQL Server 2016. On my transcript, it says charter/charter member. What does this mean? Thank you.

Hi Afrin,

Charter members are candidates who achieve the new certification within 6 months from when it was first available. You will be able to download a special version of the certificate which identifies you as a Charter member.

Please note that Microsoft no longer supports Charter status especially for any of the new MCSEs or MCSD certifications because they can be earned annually. Therefore, they are effectively always new.

If you would like to remove the Charter status, please reply with the information needed for us to locate and verify your profile.
