Connect Old MOS/MOUS Certification to My Profile

Greetings. I am moving to a new job and need to show proof of ALL my certifications. One of them is an old MOS/MOUS certification from *****. I tried contacting Certiport and have not had any luck so far. I did find my original exam print out showing******** (an address from a company I no longer work for or have access to). How can this be added to my Certification dashboard? Thanks...

Hello Jay.

Welcome to Microsoft’s Community.

We understand that you are unable to see your Certification on Microsoft Learn portal.

Our Microsoft Credentials team is currently working to improve the overall integration of Certiport and Microsoft credentials records. As a result of this work, we are temporarily unable to populate Certiport-earned certifications into Microsoft Learn profiles or merge Certiport and Microsoft Learn profile contents. We expect to complete our integration work in the coming months, at which time your Microsoft Learn record will reflect all your Microsoft Certification activity in one place. In the meantime, please be aware that you are still able to manage your Certiport-earned certifications from your Certiport Test Candidate account where you can view and download and share your certificates and your Certiport transcript. We apologize for any inconvenience and for any delay in responding to your case submission.

In the meantime, please know that when it comes to a (Certiport) Certification, you also can download it, through Certiport’s page.

Once you go to their website, follow these steps:

  1. Log in and choose the Organization Administrator role from the drop-down menu.

  2. Select the Reports tab.

  3. Click Print Certificates.

  4. Select the program you wish to print from the drop-down box or select Any Program.

  5. Select the date range. You may print certificates within 1 year after the exam was taken. Click Search.

  6. All available certificates will be displayed. Check the box for the exams you wish to print and click Print Certificates.

  7. Use the options within the PDF window to print or save a copy of the certificate

Thank you in advance for your understanding. If there is anything that we can do for you, let us know. If we do not receive a response after one business day, the case will be closed and locked.

Sincerely,

Santiago Suarez

Thanks for the reply Santiago. Unfortunately, I'm no closer to a solution.

First, your edits and message "Personal information deleted by the moderator". Why is a year number deemed "personal information"? And how are generic field names (not the data) considered personal? This is rather reductive and tedious.

Second, I noted in the original post that the exam was setup using "an address from a company I no longer work for or have access to". How then would I "download it, through Certiport’s page" (hint: it's not possible)?

Third, you stated "at which time your Microsoft Learn record will reflect all your Microsoft Certification activity", which as I noted, is impossible. Again, it was setup using "an address from a company I no longer work for or have access to", so there would never be any association MS could make between my current/primary profile and this old data.

Fourth, I would encourage you and anyone else in the MS certification program to take a look at the latest setup on Certiport? It's literally impossible to contact anyone, certainly so when addressing the type of issue I'm facing.

I believe you're trying to help, but I need a viable path forward. That seems like something MS can do (in the interim) since I have the original printout with detailed test info available to provide.

Exactly in this case, since we cannot proceed with the mergers and associations of Certiport accounts, it is because updates are being made to the system so that you can see these certifications in your Microsoft Learn account, you will not lose your Certifications record.

In the meantime, please be aware that you are still able to manage your Certiport-earned certifications from your Certiport Test Candidate account where you can view and download and share your certificates and your Certiport transcript.

You can access your Certificates through the Certiport platform by following the steps below:

  1. Log in and choose the Organization Administrator role from the drop-down menu.

  2. Select the "Reports" tab.

  3. Click "Print Certificates."

  4. Select the program that you wish to print from the drop-down box or select "Any Program."

  5. Select the date range, you may print certificates within 1 year after the exam was taken. Click "Search."

  6. All available certificates will be displayed. Check the box for the exams you wish to print and click "Print Certificates."

  7. Use the options within the PDF window to print or save a copy of the certificate.
