Error occured while linking the account. You have already linked your Microsoft employee profile with another Certification profile

I am a Linkedin Employee and I am trying to schedule the AZ-900 exam, after linking the profile, i am getting the below error

"Error occured while linking the account. You have already linked your Microsoft employee profile with another Certification profile" and unable to proceed to the next step.

Could someone help on resolving the issue?

Thanks

Hi p_jain,

Thank you for contacting the Microsoft Community.

Allow me to assist you with the issue you have encountered while checking for discounts.

The error message is usually caused if you have a duplicate profile and the email you are linking is already connected to the second profile.

What I would recommend before linking your email address, please follow the steps below:

1.    Make sure to use an up-to-date browser. (e.g., Edge, can be downloaded using this link)

2.    Clear cache and cookies.

3.    On the Delete Browsing History window, make sure to uncheck Preserve Favorites, website data and check both Temporary Internet Files and Cookies; then click Delete.

4.    Allow all third - party cookies through the browser settings.

Should you need further assistance, please provide me with your profile and discount details through this private message.

Just a heads up, Please know that our Support team has informed us that there is a persistent error with viewing/claiming any voucherless discounts through the Learning Dashboard. According to a recent update, they are still investigating this underlying issue.

I will follow up with you once the issue is resolved or if we receive any update.
