ERROR_CANDIDATE_NOT_FOUND - We can’t access your Microsoft profile to schedule your exam.

Hello,

I've been trying to book an exam. However, I keep getting the error. I've tried everything that's been suggested on the forum (including an incognito mode, allowed 3rd party cookies and downloading Edge) + even phoned Pearson. They told me that they can't find my account on the system and I need to create a Pearson account. However, their website only redirects back to MS, there's no sign-up process.

I've also created a new MS account. Can you please have a look? This is my main account - the new one I created is: ***removed***

Thank you,

Dmitry

Answer

Hi Dmitry,

Thank you for contacting us here at Microsoft Community.

We appreciate all the steps you have performed to resolve the issue. Let me help you in scheduling your exam.

In your Certification profile, please make sure that all the required fields marked with an asterisk* are correctly filled (Please remove any Special Characters (like., \! @ # etc.,) from your Name and Address), save & continue. For the phone number, you may move the first three digits of your number to the area code if you don’t have one. With the address, please include the postal code.

For us to further investigate, please provide us with a complete PSR (Problem Steps Recorder) from the time you sign in until it shows ERROR_CANDIDATE_NOT_FOUND and attach it via private message so we can forward this to our Support team for investigation.

I look forward to your response. Please note that if no response is received after two business days, the case will be closed and locked. After the case is locked, we will no longer be able to respond, even through Private Messages.
