Exam Discount

I attend Azure data fundamentals on march 22/23 and you guys send me a email about exam discount i wait 5 business day and still i cant use discount for dp-900.

Hello Selcuk,

 

Indeed, it is correct that you can claim your exam discount 5 business days (Excepts Saturday and Sunday) after the event has concluded through a voucherless process wherein you need to link the email address used in the event to your Certification Profile.

 

If you are still unable to redeem your exam discount, please follow the steps below:

  1.  

  2. Use the new MS Edge browser that you can download here.

  3. Make sure that to disable the Block all third party cookies function from the settings.

  4. Go to Microsoft Certification Dashboard.

  5. Sign in with your Microsoft account and password. If you don’t have one, create one here.

  6. On Your Dashboard, click on Schedule next exam button to select your exam.

  7. Once selected, go to Edit your certification profile.

  8. Fill out all required fields. (Marked with asterisk *). Note: Make sure that the information in your certification profile is correct and does not have a special characters as the system only accepts Roman(English) Alphabets.

  9. Click Save and Continue.

  10. On the Exam Discounts page, enter your work email in the “check eligibility” box.

  11. You will receive an email with a verification code.  Subject line of email: Verify your account ownership.

  12. Enter verification code from email to verify eligibility. If necessary, you can resend verification code. Note that the verification code is only valid for 15 minutes. Agree to share data (if work or school account) and link accounts. Note: The system might ask you to sign in, from here please login using your work account and password.

  13. Once completed, you will see a claim button for the event on the discounts page as shown below: 

  14. Note that the discount will appear in the exam check out page.

 

If you are still encountering any issues, please provide us with the PSR (Problem Steps Recorder)  of the incident starting from the sign in page until you reach the error through private message so we can escalate it to our Support team. (please make sure to capture all steps above including the troubleshooting steps done in the PSR).
