Exam result is not available. Can the exam be passed in other test center than PearsonVue?

I tried to pass the exam 70-487 on 11th of October.

Exam result is still unavailable on PearsonVue site. Moreover, the exam hangs in "In Progress" status since that date till now (30th of October).

I can not schedule another exam because of this status in their system.

I wrote a lot of e-mails to PearsonVue support, but got no helpful response on my issue. All their responses were to wait for 3-5 business days. It is not clear what should I wait for. Their support staff is absolutely unqualified. My support request was "escalated", but there were no changes in resolving of my issue. Why does Microsoft allow to pass certification exams through such unreliable company? Support level of PearsonVue is absolutely unacceptable. 

Is there any other certification provider, where I can pass Microsoft Certification exam? How can I get full refund of my exam fee, because of unacceptably terrible service level of certication provider?

Usually, it will take 24-48 hours for the exam result to appear on your MCP Profile.

 

All IT-related exams including the Exam 70-487: Developing Microsoft Azure and Web Services, can only be taken at Pearson VUE testing center as Certiport exclusively caters Microsoft Office (MOS) and Microsoft Technology Associate MTA exams and are the only available testing provider where you can register for your exam.

 

Furthermore, refund request can only be process by the testing vendor. In this case, you’ll need to contact them as well to check your refund options. I would suggest to get in touch with their chat support for swift real time assistance.

It took 19 days (456 hours) for my exam result to appear in my profile. I do not know whether it is connected with this support post or not.

This contradict for Microsoft policy for exam retaking. First retake attempt must be available after 24 hours from exam date. In my case it took almost 20 times longer. I'll insist for refund from Pearson Vue because of unacceptable service level. Please confirm my fair requirements from your side.

As mentioned, for refund request, it’s the discretion of the testing center if they will provide you a refund as we don’t have the capability of processing it on our end and how their refund policy works.

I understand that you are not responsible for refund from testing center. I just ask you to confirm from your side, that exam result appeared in my profile in 19 days after the exam date. I have e-mail confirmation (from 31st of October) from PearsonVue that my exam result appeared in my profile. Please confirm that this contradict to Microsoft exam retake policy, because first retake attempt can be available in 24 hours from exam time. In my case it took almost 20 times longer.

By the time that you have provided your account details, the exam is already reflecting on our system. Hence, we cannot deny nor confirm if it appeared 19 days after the exam date since we don’t have an option when did the exam posted on your account. If you contacted us sooner or after 48 hours upon exam completion, we could have made an investigation or follow up on this case since there might be a reason why the exam was not updated immediately.

I had confirming e-mail from 31st of October from PearsonVue with message that they had imported the results and my score was available. I attached this e-mail (as .eml file to private message). 

I have all communication thread with PearsonVue support in my e-mail box. Just ask what e-mail I should attach and I'll do it.

I guess that you can easily check when exam results were imported to your system. In reliable information system data base record creation time is stored in a field with DateTime type. If you do not have access to this field directly, you can ask data base engineer to check its value.

I have escalated this case to our backend support team to verify the information when did the exam result posted on our end.

 

Usually, the escalation process will take 3-5 business days. I’ll give you an update within the said timeframe or as soon as we receive a feedback from them.

 

Note that Pearson VUE and Microsoft has a different platform and tools when it comes to account of candidates. We can try to check if when did the exam posted on your Learning account but on Pearson VUEs end, it’s the backend support of Pearson VUE who can provide you that information.

If you or other members of your support team are contacting PearsonVue support, I should ask you to remind about this case to PearsonVue every day. My communication experience with PearsonVue support is absolutely negative (below any imaginary bottom). Their support staff is absolutely unqualified. I hope that you or your support team members can communicate with more qualified persons in PearsonVue support.
