Exam vouchers cannot be used with appointments scheduled after 28 Feb 2021 however city going into COVID lockdown tomorrow.

Hello I am booked for the AZ-900 and AZ-204 exams at local test centers this month using exam vouchers. However now my city (Auckland, New Zealand) is going into lockdown tomorrow because of new community COVID-19 cases, so obviously exams won't be able to be taken during this. No one knows now how long this will be for in total, but even so I wouldn't feel safe going outside for another month or two at least, so I wanted to reschedule my exams. However for both AZ-900 and AZ-204, when I try to do so I get:

The selected appointment cannot be scheduled. The registration was discounted with a voucher and the voucher has restrictions (voucher code here removed). The new appointment does not satisfy the following restriction: This voucher cannot be used with appointments scheduled after 28 Feb 2021.

In light of the situation  - a global pandemic going on - could any support staff kindly please consider helping extend the validity of my two exam vouchers? I have to take public transport and then walk through the some of the densest CBD streets in the country to get to my nearest test centers - it absolutely is not safe to be going there now.

We understand that you decided to cancel the exams that you registered using your vouchers due to fact that you can no longer reschedule the exams beyond February 28, 2021.

 

Regarding your question, yes, the vouchers are still be usable and can only be used once. You need to book and take the exams on or before the new expiration date.

 

As for cancellation, as we have discussed on my previous replies this is only applicable for voucherless exam discounts.

 

In your case, once you confirmed the exam, you can no longer cancel it and reuse the voucher.
