Expired retired certification

I received back in August a reminder saying my Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate certification would expire in *Removed*, but I can't renew it because the website is showing an additional message "This certification retired on June 30, 2024. You will be able to renew your certification for six months after the certification retires.", which was not mentioned in the email.

So, I wonder why the reminder didn't mention the date would not be *Removed* but December 31st if it was sent after the retirement, and why I didn't receive any reminder about the retirement of the certification either.

Do you know if there is an alternative way of renewing it considering this scenario?
