Extending voucher expiry date

Hello,

I posted earlier that "I earned a 50% off voucher for Microsoft Power BI exam after completing DataCamp’s Power BI course. It expires 30 Jul and I was wondering if I can extend the expiry date as I am currently busy with work and unable to study for the exam. Thank you."

Before this, I had reached out to DataCamp support, who directed me to these forums.

On 6 July, Microsoft mod replied "Thank you for contacting the Microsoft Community.

I would recommend reaching out to the issuer of the voucher, possibly DataCamp, to explain your situation. They may be able to provide an extension or offer an alternative solution. Below is their contact details:

DataCamp is telling me they can't do anything and to contact Microsoft. For your assistance please, thank you!

Please be advised that we cannot extend a voucher that you earned from a third-party vendor. It always depends on their terms and conditions. That is why we advised you to get in touch directly with the voucher issuer, which is DataCamp.

 

DataCamp may have routed you to us, as we have offers where you can obtain voucher discounts. Below are the current offers available that will help you in scheduling your exam:

 

 

  • If you are currently a student, you may follow the steps on the Student discounts | Microsoft Learn to complete the verification profile with your academic status. Once you have verified yourself as a student, you will be eligible for discount that provides a 45% reduction for role-based exams (excluding India and China) and a 30% discount for fundamental exams (in all countries).

  • Moreover, if you are currently employed, kindly check with your company if they're affiliated with Microsoft as Enterprise skills Initiative (ESI) that can provide you with a company discount.
