General | Exam Types: Does the AZ-900 exam have labs and case studies?

I am soon going to give my az-900 exam and want to know if labs and case studies are included and how many might we expect.

Please be aware that the only way to determine if the AZ-900 exam includes a lab or case studies are by reading the instructions at the start of the actual exam. This will let you know what to expect, including whether it contains a lab, case studies, or other types of questions.

Since the availability of labs in exam can vary from one candidate to another based on Azure availability, outages, and bandwidth, we do not share a list of exams that include labs. This helps avoid escalations when candidates expect labs that may not be available.


Additionally, you can practice the skills listed in the “Skills measured” section of the AZ-900 study guide. The information and materials in this document should help you focus your studies as you prepare for the exam.
