No, the DP-700 Fabric Data Engineer exam is a broad exam. Completing the Learn modules alone is not enough for this exam, and you need to have hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric to pass the exam. All associate and expert level exams require more than just reading. The DP-700 exam does require you to take several pieces of information and interpret them together to answer the question.

As well as Microsoft Learn modules, Microsoft provides other key resources for the exam:

Each learn module does have hands-on labs at the end, so yes as you say hands on capabilities would be tested in the exam.
And as one would expect, all the complex concepts and pieces of information would make the complicated blend of questions for the exam, my primary concern is if the depth covered in the learn modules is enough for the exam prep, for example consider Spark, there is a set of details and information delineated in the dp700 learn module, but this set is clearly not a comprehensive guide on Spark, there are vastly more technical documentations on Spark in the Learn catalog. My question remains the same, is the dp700 learn module enough? I am assuming this adds more context and clarifies my question.

No and I didn't say hands on will be tested but you need the experience of doing rather than reading
