Hi Andre,
Thank you for contacting the Microsoft Community.
I completely understand how important certification progress is—every attempt represents a significant investment of your time, effort, and dedication. Let me provide guidance on this.
Julian is absolutely right. As an active Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) or MCT Alumni, you're eligible for the MCT discount benefit on each exam attempt, including retakes—ensuring continued support throughout your certification journey.
That said, it’s important to note that retake policies can vary based on the specific exam type and program requirements. Additionally, exams that have already been passed generally cannot be retaken unless the associated certification has expired and renewal is required. To better understand these policies, please refer to the Exam and Applied Skills assessment lab retake policies | Microsoft Learn page.
While our core support covers areas like exam registration and Microsoft Credential profiles/benefits, I also want to make sure you receive the most helpful guidance on related topics. If you need further assistance—especially around MCT renewal/enrollment, program benefits, or access to platforms like the MCT Lounge—please submit a new support request here: https://support.serviceshub.microsoft.com/supportforbusiness/create?sapId=e203d22e-ebf2-2689-dea4-455b5559e8c9
To begin, simply provide your contact information, and you'll receive a Case ID via email to track the progress of your request.
Lastly, I completely understand if you’re ready to bring this matter to a close—I simply want to ensure everything has been addressed thoroughly and is in proper order. I’m here to support you should you need any further assistance.
Otherwise, if this solves your problem, please indicate “Yes” to the question and the thread will automatically be closed and locked. In case we do not receive a response, the thread will be closed and locked after one business day. Please be advised that after the case is locked, we will no longer be able to respond. If the resolution provided did not resolve the issue, please post a new question.
Best regards,
