While there isn't a direct "student verification" process within Microsoft Learn itself, I recommend updating your certification profile to clearly indicate your student status, as many certification providers and training platforms, including Microsoft, offer discounts for verified students.
To proceed with this, follow the step-by-step instructions below:
Login to your Learn Profile and begin the interest survey.
2. Select "Career Paths".
3. Select "Student".
4. Complete the rest of the Interest Survey and click "Finished" when completed. For more information, visit Student discounts | Microsoft Learn.
Once you complete the process of identifying yourself as a student, the discount will automatically reflect on the checkout page when you schedule an exam. Microsoft offers academic pricing on Microsoft Certification exams in most countries/regions (except India and China).
If you have successfully completed the student verification process, you are eligible for a 30% discount on Fundamentals exams and a 45% discount on all Role-based exams (excluding those taken in India and China). The applicable discount will be automatically applied at checkout and deducted from the original exam price.
