Get student discount for Microsoft Certifications?

Hi,


I'd like to become certified in AZ-900, PL-300, DP-900, and DP-300. I saw that there is a student discount ********, but when I follow the steps described in this article :



I get this error,


"invalid_request: The provided value for the input parameter 'redirect_uri' is not valid. The expected value is a URI which matches a redirect URI registered for this client application."


How can I connect my student email to my current account? My current account uses my personal email and has my Microsoft Learn and Microsoft Certification profiles connected.

I know how important it is to be able to apply for your discount and schedule the exam completely. Allow me to provide you with further information on how you can obtain this academic offer.

To identify yourself as a student in your certification profile.

After you have completed your profile, you are now ready to schedule your exam with VUE registration site using the student discount option in job title field.

  1. Go to Pearson VUE website and select the Login button halfway down the page on the right (below the Microsoft logo): Microsoft: Pearson VUE

  2. This will take you to the Microsoft Learn site page where all Microsoft Certification exams are listed, and each title is linked to the individual exam page. Select the exam you want to take.

  3. Select the orange exam button in the 'schedule exam' section on the left.

  4. This will take you to your Microsoft profile dashboard. Verify that your information is up-to-date, and that 'student' is selected in the job title field.

  5. Select the Edit Profile link- this is a mandatory step.

  6. Select the blue Save and continue button on the bottom right of the page.

  7. A message pops appears: “Congrats! You’re verified for academic discounts.”

After you verified as student, you have to continue and follow the instruction in scheduling an exam. And on the check-out page, you will see the student discount attached to your scheduled exam.

For your reference, note that all Fundamentals exams will qualify for the Student Offer's 30% discount, while Non-Fundamentals exams will receive a 45% discount. For everyone's visibility, our support team is now working on a public phasing document with this information.

In case you encounter an error, please send us the complete PSR (Problem Steps Recorder) along with the requested information through the private message.
