Hello, Sethokge!

Thank you for the information you kindly provided over direct communication, it is well appreciated.

We would like to inform you that your account is ready to be migrated to your desired email address (per policy the certification profile needs to be linked with a personal e-mail address to avoid issues: Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo etc.) so you will be able to visualize your certificates. Please see attached the steps for migrating your account:

To continue with this process, please follow these steps:

1. Start a Microsoft Edge InPrivate browsing session (pressing the key combination Ctrl + Shift + N once the browser is open).

2. Copy and paste this link into the private window’s address bar https://mcp.microsoft.com/mcp/home/migrate

3. Sign in with a Microsoft account that has not been used in MS Certifications, different to the email account associated with the other MCID (if you do not have one, we invite you to create it Here).

4. If you are shown an error message, please select the option “MCP Home” which will direct you to Your Dashboard, after that you can copy and paste the same link on step 2 in the same search bar.

Image

5. After you have followed the previous link, it will open a new window to Your Dashboard, as shown in the image below.

 Image

6. While being on Your Dashboard page, please delete the URL and paste this one: https://mcp.microsoft.com/mcp/home/migrate

Image

7. After pasting the URL and clicking on enter, you will see this website. Please fill in the fields MC ID and Access code.

8. Fill in the fields with the following information:

  • MCID:

  • Access Code:

To protect personal information, these credentials are provided via Private Message.

Hello, Sethokge!

Thank you for the information provided, we appreciate it.

We want to let you know that the migration is in order to change the e-mail address associated with your certification profile, we have confirmed that your certification profile was migrated to a different e-mail address, since you want a different one, the migration needs to be completed once again. Please proceed with the migration using your desired e-mail address.

.

In this case the migration and the connection of the certification profile needs to be completed so you can visualize the certificate, per security this is the procedure we have to complete.

We have started again the process of changing the MSA of your Certification profile by unlinking one more time your previous email from it.

To proceed with the Migration, please follow these steps:

1.    Open your Microsoft Edge Browser and begin a Microsoft Edge InPrivate browsing session by pressing the key combination Ctrl + Shift + N.

2.    Copy and paste this link into the private window’s address bar: https://mcp.microsoft.com/mcp/home/migrate

3.   To link your Current Account, type a Microsoft Email Account into the login field. The login must be the one we specified via Private Messages (if you do not have a login, we invite you to create one Here).

Image

4.    If you are shown an error message, please select the option “MCP Home” which will direct you to Your Dashboard. You can then copy and paste the same link into the search bar on step 2.

Image

5. After you have selected the option "Home," it will open a new window to the page shown in the image below.

Image

6. Once this page has loaded, please delete the URL, and paste this one:

7.    After pasting the URL and pressing enter, you will see this website. Please fill in the blank fields with the following information:

After you finish the Migration with your Account, please message us so we can verify if it was updated successfully.

If no further assistance is needed, please indicate “Yes” to the question and the thread will automatically be closed and locked. In case we do not receive a response, it will be closed and locked after two business days.

Hello, Sethokge!

Thank you for your response.

We understand how frustrating this process has become for you, as it has taken a considerable amount of time to be resolved. However, per policy and for your security the migration process allows you to connect the e-mail address that you prefer with your certification profile so you will be able to visualize your certificate (your certificate is properly posted in your account).

We have confirmed that you have completed the migration process, however the e-mail address connected is the one we have shared with you via Private Message.

Keep in mind that the e-mail address you use for the migration is the login e-mail address for your certification profile, in this moment if you have access to this e-mail address you only need to connect your certification profile and you will visualize your certificate:

If you don't have access to the e-mail address you have used for the migration, please let us know and we can unlink the e-mail for a new migration.

Please attempt to connect your certification profile and let us know if you can visualize your certificates, If no response is received, it will be closed and locked after one business days.

Sincerely,

Tatiana Valencia.

Hello, Sethokge!

Thank you for your kindly patience and cooperation.

We have unlinked again the e-mail address, now you can migrate your account again, it is really important to complete the steps this time using the e-mail address you have access to.

At the moment that you complete the migration using an e-mail address you use, you will be able to access to your account, then please connect your certification profile (Connect a certification profile to Learn | Microsoft Learn) and you will get the access to your MCDST certificate.

Please follow the steps below update your Email, this procedure is called Migration.

  • Open your Microsoft Edge Browser and begin a Microsoft Edge InPrivate browsing session by pressing the key combination Ctrl + Shift + N.

  • Sign in with the Microsoft Email Account that you want to use in your Microsoft's Certification Profile.

  • If you are shown an error message, please select the option “MCP HOME” which will direct you to Your Dashboard. You can then copy and paste the same link into the search bar on step.

Image

After completing these steps, the Migration screen should come up. The website should look like this:

Image

It will ask you for these details:

  • MCID:

  • Access Code:

For personal information protection reasons, you will find these credentials in the Private Message

We understand how frustrating this process has become for you, as it has taken a considerable amount of time to be resolved. However, the migration process needs to be done if you want to change your e-mail address (please make sure to use the e-mail address you desire). Once you have processed the Migration steps again, your certification profile will be linked with your desired e-mail address, and this will be your log in e-mail address.

If no further assistance is needed, please indicate “Yes” to the question and the thread will automatically be closed and locked. In case we do not receive a response, it will be closed and locked after two business days.
