How can I look up my list of certifications

Hello,

To access my list of MS certifications, I used to access https://mcp.microsoft.com/authenticate/validatemcp.aspx and enter my Transcript ID & Access Code and see the list of all my certification.

Going to the site, now generates "Internal Error, and  a message that site is not available.

What is the new procedure for MCP's looking at their list of certs.

Thanks in advance for your help

Jay

Answer

Hi Jay,

How are you? Hope all is well.

Please refrain on providing any Personal Identifiable Information when posting for security purposes.

Please be advised Microsoft no longer awards MCP certification since February 1, 2019. Candidates can earn certificates by passing all the required exams for any certification.

Also, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certificate is only given once when you passed your first qualifying MCP exam.

After passing the last exam required for any certification your transcript will be updated. It may take up to 24 - 48 hours for the system to recognize your new certification status.

To learn more about Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification, please visit this page.

On the other hand, if you already have completed all the required exams, we will  need to check the eligibility of your profile. To do so, please provide the needed information through the initiated private message.

Please see sample guide below on how  to access it:

Also, you may try downloading the certificate by following the steps below:

1. Sign in to the MCP Member Site at https://mcp.microsoft.com/mcp. ( We recommend using an Internet Explorer, Edge browser or InPrivate browser)

2. On the “Your dashboard” page, please click on 'Download” under “Certificates”.

3. On the “Certificate” page, select the certificate(s) that you would like to download..

4. Please click on the “PDF” button. An "OPEN, SAVE, SAVE AS" bar will pop-up at the bottom of the page.

Otherwise, if this solves your problem, please indicate “Yes” to the question below so that other learners can benefit. Additionally, please take our short survey to let us know if your support experience has been great or how we can improve.

Please confirm by selecting “Yes” within 2 business days, otherwise the thread will be automatically closed and be locked. Please be aware that after a case is locked, we will not be able to respond, even on private messages. If your concerns were not fully resolved, please post a new question so that we may proceed in assisting you.

Best regards,
