Hi Sabharam,
Thank you for contacting the Microsoft community.
Your proactive approach in making sure that the name registered for your exam matches the government ID that you will be using when taking your Azure Fundamentals exam. Allow me to provide guidance to have the name updated to make sure that it matches your ID card.
Please note that candidates who have one name should place an underscore (_) as their last name when registering for an exam. Hence, your name is updated to First Name _. Rest assured that the underscore will not show on your transcript or certificates and is merely there as a placeholder.
According to the Pearson VUE ID policy, the first and last name on the ID must match the first and last name used to register for the exam, to avoid issues, please submit a Legal Name Change Request by following the steps on How to change the name on your Microsoft Certification profile. Upon creating your request, you should receive a Support Case Number for your case via email. kindly share it with me through the private message that I initiated along with the additional information requested and I will do my best to have this prioritized.
Additionally, I have provided the list of Acceptable forms of ID for Pearson VUE to make sure that you will not encounter any issues with verifying your identity:
International travel passport
Driver's license
Identification card (national, state or province ID card)
Alien registration card (green card or permanent resident/visa)
Note: paper, laminated and digital IDs are not accepted.
Once the name change request has been completed, it is best to call the Pearson VUE support team to confirm that the changes correctly reflect your name. To contact Pearson VUE, you can visit the Pearson VUE customer support page.
I look forward to your response. Please note that if no response is received after two business days, the case will be closed and locked. After the case is locked, we will no longer be able to respond, even through Private Messages. Thank you.
Sincerely,
