I have spent several hours attempting to find how to invite a friend to create a Learn account and begin learning with me so we can motivate & keep one another going. Despite hours of time going in circles through different links and a super long wait in support chat I was directed to post my question here and expect a response in about 24 hours. I simply need to know how to help a friend create a Microsoft Learn account and then link them so that we may see one another's progress & learn together but we do not need a business solution which is where I keep being directed to. Specifically the Partner University business client offering instead of Microsoft Learn for individuals. If anyone could help I would appreciate it tremendously! I've included the AI help answer which was a bit vague but indicates there is a way to link 2 personal accounts to learn this way.

Hello A_Wright_.
Welcome to Microsoft’s Community.
We understand that you want to link your Profile to your friend’s to keep track of each other’s progress. We will gladly assist.
Here is a step-by-step guide to help you and your friend create Microsoft Learn accounts:
Create a Microsoft Learn Account:
Go to the Microsoft Learn sign-up page.
Click on "Sign In" at the top right corner.
If your friend does not have a Microsoft account, select "Create one!" and follow the prompts to set up a new account.
Link Accounts to Track Progress:
Unfortunately, Microsoft Learn does not currently offer a direct feature to link personal accounts for tracking progress collaboratively. However, you can use the "Collections" feature to share learning paths and modules.
Create a collection by navigating to a learning path or module and selecting "Add to Collection."
Share the collection link with your friend so you both can follow the same learning path and discuss your progress.
Use External Tools for Collaboration:
Consider using external tools like Microsoft Teams or a shared OneNote notebook to keep track of each other's progress and motivate each other.
If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.
