How to link MCID account to Partner Center account ?

Hi,

I have passed a Microsoft certification recently, through Microsoft Learn.

I have been asked by my company to associate my Microsoft Certification Profile to my Microsoft Cloud Partner account, so my certification shows for the company.

I have tried to follow the steps in this guide : https://learn.microsoft.com/en-US/partner-center/ms-learn-associate

With no success.

When I am on the Microsoft Partner Center page, I go to "My Profile" and select "Associate Microsoft Learning account".

This takes me to a login page, where I enter my email address (from my company), the one I used and I am connected with on the Microsoft Learn page, and where it shows my certification and Learning path. It gives me the error "That Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different account or get a new one."

I don't understand why, and I have tried many different things to try to go around this, none of it has worked.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Greg

Hello, Greg.

Welcome to Microsoft’s Community.

To associate your Microsoft Certification to the Microsoft Partner Center, however, it has not been possible for you to complete this process.

In this case, please check this website where you will find the guidelines to know How to link or unlink a Microsoft Certification profile ID (MCID) to a Microsoft Partner Network (MPN) account

In case you require support while following the steps mentioned in the article, you can contact the Microsoft Partner Network Team (MPN) by clicking on this link: Partner Center (microsoft.com) You can also reach this Team by dialing their direct phone number: 1 800 6767658.

If you would like to change the email address on your Microsoft Learn Platform you can go to the Microsoft Learn Support Team, however, if you want to change the email on the Partner center, please go to the Partner Network Center link or talk to your Company administrator to proceed with your request. Be informed that the Microsoft Partner Network allows your company to have only one account per user.

Any Partner Center user can create a support request. You can send diagnostics to help the support team fix the problem more quickly.

If you want to talk to a representative, you can schedule a support appointment.

You have reached the Microsoft Certification Support Team which caters to inquiries and/or concerns related to certifications and exams benefits and requirements found within the Microsoft Learning Site.
