How to link microsoft account and ignite registration account

Make sure that you are using the same account to schedule the exam as the one you used for the event.

How to claim your free exam

Because this is a digital offer, we require you verify your event attendance by using the same social account used for event registration (see step 7 below) upon scheduling your exam online. If you were group-registered, please ensure you have completed your event registration profile. For MS Ignite 2019 attendees, go to https://register.ignite.microsoft.com/; for The Tour attendees, please go to https://register.msignite-the-tour.microsoft.com/cityname, e.g. https://register.msignite-the-tour.microsoft.com/london to complete your event profile.

To register for a free exam:

1. Select any of the qualifying exams listed below.
2. Once you have accessed the desired exam details page, click the "Schedule exam" button to begin the online registration process.
3. Sign in with the Microsoft Account associated with your Microsoft Certification profile. If you do not have a Microsoft Certification profile, you will need to create one.
4. Once logged in to your Microsoft Certification Profile, confirm details in your Certification Profile are accurate.
5. Click on the "Save & continue button" at the bottom of the Certification Profile page to proceed to the 'Exam Discounts' page.
6. On the 'Exam Discounts' page, select the event you've attended and click the "Verify account" button.
7. When verifying your account, you must authenticate using the same social account used for event registration (NOTE: If you used a Microsoft Account for event registration, you must use the same Microsoft Account to log in to your Certification Profile to schedule your exam. If this results in having two Certification Profiles, contact Microsoft Certification support forums to merge your profiles, after you complete your certification exam.)
8. Follow steps on the following screens and provide the required details to schedule your exam.
9. During checkout, verify that the total amount due is $0.00 and submit the order. Note: The 'My Order' page should show the following discount at the bottom of the page: Microsoft Ignite 2019-2020 100% Discount. Previous pages in the exam scheduling flow will show the full price.
