Please help.

Hello, Thabisa Maka.

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.

Based on your inquiry, we understand you want to know how to merge your Learn Profiles into one.

Note 1: With the changes implemented in our site on July 8th (links below), our internal security policies were updated, and our Support Team is no longer able to confirm to our customers any personal information from their Learn Profiles.

Previous services related to Certification Profiles (merging, migrations, legal name change, etc.) are now self-assisted by users.

To accomplish this, you must merge the Learn Profile that contains your certificate (Profile B) into the main Learn Profile you want as preferred (Profile A). The steps are detailed in the section Can I merge two profiles of mine into one? located at the end of the article below:

There are some details to consider regarding the rules of merging Learn Profiles:

  • Up to five (5) school/work account Learn Profiles can be merged to one (1) personal account Learn Profile

  • By system design, two personal account Learn Profiles cannot be merged.

If your profiles are both personal, to transfer your certificate you must have a third Learn Profile under a school/work account and follow the steps below:

  1. Log into your school/work account (profile A) and add the profile that has your certificate (Profile B). This transfers your certificate from B to A

  2. Now log into Profile B and remove profile A (Settings > Account Management > Linked accounts > remove).

  3. Log into your main preferred Learn Profile and add your school/work Learn Profile (from Step 1). This transfers your certificate from the work Learn Profile to your preferred personal Learn Profile

The school/work Learn Profile works as a 'bridge' that allows you to transfer certification/training progress from a personal account Learn Profile to another personal profile.

Note 2: If you do not have an active work account, from now on you must use two Learn Profiles to access your certifications separately, and make sure that all your future exams are scheduled with the same account from your preferred profile.

We hope this is useful to you, if there is anything else we can do for you, please do not hesitate to stay connected with us.

If no additional assistance is required, please indicate “Yes” to the question and the thread will automatically be closed and locked. In case we do not receive a response, it will be closed and locked after one business day.
