We understand you want to know how to renew your Certification.

We invite you to follow these steps:

1.      Clear your browser’s cached data and cookies.

2.      Use InPrivate browsing with Microsoft Edge.

3.    Click on this link to go to Your Dashboard.

4.      Go to your Renewal option.

5.      Click in Add your personal account.

6.      Choose “Personal Account”

7.      Get with the MS Account you use in your Certification Profile to visualize your Certifications.

Regarding the renewal process:

• Candidates will not be able to take the renewal assessment before this time frame.

• The learning path can be accessed at any time.

• Candidates who do not pass the renewal assessment on the first try can immediately attempt the assessment again. However, after the second try, they will need to wait 24 hours before additional attempts.

• The number of attempts is not limited, but the assessment must be passed prior to the certification expiration date, or the certification will no longer be valid.

Passing the renewal assessment on Microsoft Learn is the only way to renew a certification. The candidates cannot renew their certifications by passing an exam, even if it is a new or updated version of the exam, they initially passed to earn the certification.

They must pass the renewal assessment on Microsoft Learn to renew it. There will be no exceptions to this policy.

Note that Fundamentals certifications do not expire as long as the technology is still available or relevant. Unlike role-based Expert/Associate certifications that need to be renewed/recertified every year.
