I can't redeem my certification

Hi,


On ***** ** I did the AI-900 Azure AI Fundamentals exam. I did it through Certiport, and I successfully approved it. However, I am incapable of accessing the certification.


My main issue is that I have a Microsoft account thanks to my university, but I used a slightly different mail address to access Certiport. The first mail address doesn't have a mailbox assigned, which is why I used the other one, so I could receive the certification.


Anyways, I got the notification email congratulating me and inviting me to see my certification at the Microsoft Learn site. I entered the site with my university account and when I clicked View Certificates the page asked me to log in again. And at this time, my university account wouldn't work, and the "slightly different one", which is the one I registered at Certiport, wouldn't work either.


So currently, I am unable to access my certification, which is somehow locked. I could really use some help. I created a brand new Microsoft account to access the View Certificates menu, but it doesn't have assigned any certification to it (which is kind of obvious). If you can help me, please reach me at this email address and I can give you my certification ID, or whatever information you may need.

As we understand, it has not been possible for you to visualize your achieved Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals Certificate due to the email address you took the Exam with is different than the email registered in your MC Profile.

Thank you so much for your prompt response. Following your request, we would like to inform you that we have tracked your MC Profile. 

 

However, we identified that your Certification Profile is currently unlinked of any email address. This could be the reason why you cannot visualize your Certificate listed in your Transcript. 

 

Please follow the Migration Process to link your Profile to your preferred email address, please bear in mind that the Microsoft Certification and Learning Profiles can only be linked to personal accounts by design.

  

  1. Start a Microsoft Edge InPrivate browsing session (pressing the key combination Ctrl + Shift + N once the browser is open).   

  2. Copy and paste this link into the private window’s address bar. https://mcp.microsoft.com/mcp/home/migrate   

  3. Sign in by using your preferred email address.  

  4. It is possible you encounter an error message. If that happens, please click on MCP Home, as shown in the image above.  

  5. After clicking on MCP Home, you will be redirected to Your Dashboard.  

  6. While being on Your Dashboard page, please delete the URL and paste this one: https://mcp.microsoft.com/mcp/home/migrate  

  7. After pasting the URL and clicking on enter, you will see this website, please fill in the fields MC ID and Access code using the credentials we have shared with you over Private Message.   

  

  

Now, your account is linked to your desired email address. Bear in mind that since all your Exam has been taken through Certiport, your Certification will be visible only in your Transcript from Your Dashboard. To visualize your Certificates and Badges, it is necessary that you access the Certiport Platform or Credly by using the email you used to link your MC Profile.
