Hi Lewis.

To validate information, via private message. To proceed with your account, it needs to be Migrated. This process will help us to show your certificates and associate your account.

To continue with this process, please follow these steps:

2.    Copy and paste this link into the private window’s address bar https://mcp.microsoft.com/mcp/home/migrate

3.    Access with a Microsoft account that has not been used in MS Learn, different to your email address (if you do not have one, we invite you to create one Here).

Image

4.    If you are shown an error message, please select the option “MCP Home” which will direct you to Your Dashboard, after that you can copy and paste the same link on step 2 in the same search bar.

Image

5.    After you have followed the previous link, it will open a new window to Your Dashboard, as shown in the image below.

Image

6. While being on Your Dashboard page, please delete the URL and paste this one: https://mcp.microsoft.com/mcp/home/migrate

Image

the https://mcp.microsoft.com/mcp/home/migrate link doesn't work, I click on the home button and repaste the https://mcp.microsoft.com/mcp/home/migrate link into the URL and it still just takes me here. Tested multiple browsers and incognito modes, same issue persists.

Hi Lewis.

Remember the step 3.   You have to Access with a Microsoft account that has not been used in MS Learn, different to your email address (if you do not have one, we invite you to create one Here). Hi Lewis.

Thank you for the information provided in your last response. Please know that to continue with the resolution of your case and continue with the assistance, you should follow each step mentioned in the migration post.

For this, you must complete step 3: To link your Current Account, type a Microsoft Email Account into the login field.  The login must be one you have never used before in a Microsoft’s Certification Profile (If you do not have a login, we invite you to create one Here)

The information previously mentioned is because step 3 is a temporary process while we can complete the migration and leave the information that you prefer as primary*. Remember that you can direct yourself to the Private Message using this link:

After reviewing this feature, you can let us know if you have other concerns. We will be waiting for your comments if more questions arise.

We will be waiting for your reply with the Migration confirmation to be able to continue with the assistance. Consider that if we do not get any answer within the next two business days, the case will be concluded.

Hi Lewis.

Thank you for the information.

To continue assisting you we need you to please provide us with a PSR (Problem Steps Recorder), where we can evidence the situation. It is necessary that the email address used at the time of accessing is displayed, as well as for the issue you encounter. We advise you to take multiple screenshots of these if necessary. Please include these steps:

1.  Clear your browser’s cached data and cookies.

2.  Use InPrivate browsing with Microsoft Edge.

3.  Follow the Migration steps.

4.  Record until the error is visible.

5.  Please click on the screen to confirm that the PSR will record everything, especially the error if you see. We need to complete to consolidate your accounts.

Private Messages - Microsoft Community

Keep in mind the PSR tool is set to a limit of 25 screenshots as a default, if you need a higher number of pictures to show the process, please change the number to at least 100 screenshots in the tool’s settings.

You will be able to use the PSR following the link specified for your operating system:

·         Windows: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/22878/windows-10-record-steps

·         Mac: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208721

Please share with us the ZIP file generated by the PSR tool through Private Messages.

If we do not receive a response in the next business day, we will proceed to close and lock this case.

Hi Lewis.

Thank you so much for being so active during this case!

Please keep in mind that personal email is required when you are accessing the Microsoft Certified Professional platform, and scheduling Certification Exams, not a partner or organization Email address.

Please keep in mind that the Certification Profile must be associated with a personal email account. We highly recommend public domains such as Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, Outlook…This way we can be sure that there will be no problem to connect it to MS Learn and see the certifications: connect one Learn profile to your Certification profile. However, since you mentioned that the email account that you used to complete the migration steps is a personal account, the system might accept it as well.

1.    Sign into Learn using the same personal Microsoft account (MSA) you use to sign into your certification profile.

2.    Click on the Learn profile photo avatar and select Profile from the drop-down menu.

Image

3.    Select Credentials from the menu inside your profile.

4.    Click the “Connect certification profile” button on the certifications page.

Image

Once the connection is complete, you’ll never worry about separate certification and Learn profiles again.

What to do if you can’t connect

If you’re unable to connect your certification profile to your Learn profile, make sure the personal Microsoft account you’re using is the same one you use to log into your certification profile. For more details, visit Align certification profile and Learn profile accounts. If the account you usually use to sign into Learn is a work or school account, use the Add account function in your Learn settings:

1.    Click the photo avatar for your Learn profile

2.    Select Settings

Image

3.    Scroll to Account Management

4.    Click Add account to add the personal Microsoft account used to sign into your certification profile.
Image

5.    Return to the Connect process.

Note: You can only connect one certification account to Learn.

Please let us know the result of the process.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you. If the information we shared was helpful, please let us know by choosing Yesto the question located in the bottom left corner of this post. In case we do not receive a response, it will be closed and locked after one business day.

Have an excellent day,
