I lost all my certifications - MCP, MCAD, MCSD, MCPD, MCT, MCDBA, MCSA

Hello Support,

I have been taking exams, since 1998., probably the world's youngest and now oldest MS Certified Professional. I also was given a Microsoft MVP award in 2004 and ended up joining Microsoft in SQL Server Team.

I had physical copies of my Certificates but lost them during transition.

Here are the details:
MCT /
*Removed*

MCAD / *Removed*

MCDBA / *Removed*
MCSD.net /
*Removed*

Is there any possibility to bring back all these Badges and connect them to my regular Microsoft account?
To whom should I contact to provide my Candidate ID, my Certification number and current/or old Microsoft email address?

Thank you in advance. Any help will be appreciated.

Hi, Saurabh!

Thanks for the information provided via Private Message.

We determined that you are unable to see the certificate because the Certification Profile was connected to a Microsoft Account that is different from the registered on your Learn Profile.

After checking your account details, we kindly ask you to perform the following actions to begin the necessary alignment to use your MCID.

Please follow the steps below update your Email, this procedure is called Migration.

  • Open your Microsoft Edge Browser and begin a Microsoft Edge InPrivate browsing session by pressing the key combination Ctrl + Shift + N.

  • Sign in with the Microsoft Email Account that you want to use in your Microsoft's Certification Profile.

  • If you are shown an error message, please select the option “MCP HOME” which will direct you to Your Dashboard. You can then copy and paste the same link into the search bar on step.

ImageOnce you are on Your Dashboard, please copy and paste this link: https://mcp.microsoft.com/mcp/home/migrate on the same tab you are working on.

After completing these steps, the Migration screen should come up. The website should look like this:

Please let us know if after the procedure, your account works properly and you are able to see your certificates.

If this solves your problem, please indicate “Yes” to the question and the thread will automatically be closed and locked. In case we do not receive a response, it will be closed and locked after two business days.

Kind regards,
