I need to combine two personal accounts so that my certification shows up on my main account

Hi -

I took my exam through a different personal account (it was scheduled accidentally as I was logged into my email on that account) than my main (MCID) account that has all of my training. Is it possible to transfer this certication or merge the information from the two personal MCID accounts. Thank you!

Hi, BBRICKER.

Hi, BBRICKER.

Thank you for sharing the information requested through Private Message.

Due to a recent update, it is no longer possible to Merge Certification Profiles that have no credentials such as Exams or Certifications. Since your duplicate MCID is empty in this regard, it cannot be Merged.

As Merging your Certification Profiles is not possible, we would like to know which of the following options you would prefer:

  1. To unlink the Microsoft account associated with your duplicate MCID:

This will allow you to associate this Microsoft account with the MCID that has your Certificates so you can access them using your preferred account. It will also prevent issues with Exam scheduling and accessing your Certificates in the future.

  2. To leave your Certification Profiles as they are:

This will allow you to sign into each of your Profiles with their corresponding Microsoft accounts; however, you may find issues in the future when scheduling Exams and accessing your Certificates.

For security purposes, we have shared the accounts associated with each of your MCIDs via Private Message.

We advise using InPrivate or Incognito mode when signing into your Learning dashboard to ensure that your browser does not automatically sign you in using an incorrect account.

If you do not wish to make any changes to your Certification Profiles, please let us know by selecting "Yes" where it says, "Did this solve your problem?" located at the lower right corner of this post. This will close the thread.

If we do not receive a response, the case will be closed and locked after two business days.
