The proctor stopped the exam for a miscommunication. Now a failure is posted on my IIBA profile when I wasn't allowed to finish the exam. I got to a question where I needed a calculator, I opened my laptop calculator not realizing that there is one built-in the private browser. Then the proctor stopped the exam about 30 minutes into the 3.5 hr exam.
I did not fail this exam. This was a proctor initiated exam termination and not a failure.

The proctor said I could use the online calculator and not a handheld. Well my laptop calculator is online. It was a matter of not having clear communication. What should have been said is to use the built-in calculator on the PSI private browser.
Here are the issues.
There is no walk-through for a user of the software or time to familiarize with how it works.
Nomenclature of the software components is not clearly described.
Functional operation of the software is assumed to be intuitive but until test time, a user has not seen how it works so this is a disadvantage.
Once the proctor paused the exam and closed the session, I no longer have access to the support numbers.
To retake the exam they want to stick me for another $245.
