I took up Az 305 certification and cleared the same, however my Az 104 has not got renewed

As we understand from your post, you have passed Exam AZ-305, but your Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate Certification was not renewed after its completion. We are happy to help!

By our renewal policy, role-based and specialty Certifications achieved after June 30th, 2021, expire one year after their achievement date. 180 days prior to a Certification's expiration date, its renewal assessment will be enabled.

Once the renewal assessment of your Certificate is enabled, you will receive an email notification informing you that you can renew your Certificate, as well as the URL to take the assessment through the Microsoft Learn platform.

The renewal assessment is free and can be taken as many times as necessary while the Certification is active. Keep in mind that if a candidate does not pass the assessment after their second try, they must wait 24 hours before their next attempt.

It is important to note that each Certification must be renewed separately, as each Certificate is independent from each other.

This means that renewing or achieving the Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification will not automatically cause other similar or lower-level certifications to be renewed automatically.

In case you do not complete the renewal assessment before your Certification expires, you will be required to pass all the necessary Exams again if you wish to re-earn your Certification.
