We understand that you want to know if your Certification from 2005 is still valid.
Please know that Microsoft periodically goes thru a clean-up effort to identify certifications based on technologies that are no longer relevant and removes them.
This is done to ensure that the certifications represented on transcripts are current and cover up-to-date skills, knowledge, and abilities. If you Certificate still shows in your Transcript, you can use it as proof of accreditation, even if it shows in the Certification History section of the same.
The absence of replacements responds to Microsoft’s focus on Role-based Certifications.
Role-based training and certifications are kept current with new features and services that Microsoft is constantly adding to the cloud solution areas, minimizing skill gaps associated with the applicable job roles.
To review all available Exams and Certifications, please visit our Certification Browser.
