Is the Azure Fundamentals FREE certification not available anymore?

I finished the Azure Fundamentals Learning Path for exam AZ-900, and also the Azure Fundamentals Training Days successfully.

But when I try to register to the exam, I do not have any discounts.

I always used the same Microsoft Learn account.

Is the Azure Fundamentals certification for FREE not available anymore?

We are aware that there are some candidates who are contacting that they should be receiving discounts for attending Microsoft Virtual Training Day events. To have this further investigated, please provide us with an email or screenshot showing that you should be eligible to obtain the said discount as well as your account information through private message.

As per the last update, you will receive the discount if you have attended the MVTD event prior March 28, 2023. After the said date, all upcoming schedules will only be served for training and learning purposes.

I look forward to your response. Please note that if no response is received after two business days, the case will be closed and locked. After the case is locked, we will no longer be able to respond, even through Private Messages.

This is to inform you that the information with regards to the discontinued discount voucher from March 28, 2023 was relayed from our processing team. As you may have noticed in the event description and confirmation email you received, with discounts not being mentioned.

As alternative, if you are a student and if you are interested in other exam, I have found this Welcome to Cloud Ready Skills wherein you may take advantage and receive a 100% exam voucher after completing a training course and to qualify, identify yourself as a student in your certification profile and verify your academic status. Once verified, you’ll receive the student discount when registering for an exam.    

 

Furthermore, I found this The Microsoft Learn Cloud Skill Challenge, there are 8 challenges available to choose from, select one that's right for you. Once you complete that challenge you will earn a free Microsoft Certification exam that can be applied to your choice from a select list of options.  

Moreover, if you are employed, I would suggest asking your company if they are affiliated with Microsoft since you may also receive a voucherless discount for selected exams. You may check your eligibility by following this page: Vouchers and redeeming discounts | Microsoft Docs.
